There doesn’t seem to be any specific requirements for the brand’s regular eyeshadow range. So if I stick to the typical industry requirements (and also look at the brand patterns), I would expect a rich pigmentation and a mixability. The brand has a choice of finishes, and the price varies from finish to finish and also has some variations within the finish. However, they are usually between $ 6.00 and $ 8.00, which translates to approximately $ 5.00 to $ 7.00.

The shimmering formulas were similar; They were usually dense, slightly creamy and miscible with excellent pigmentation and minimal chance of failure. Some of the more sparkling shades felt looser, while some metallics felt softer. They usually wore between eight and eight and a half hours before they visibly faded (without primer).

The matte formula is velvety, denser and stronger, so a little can do a lot and they are powderier in the pan. I find that these denser types of formulations adhere better to bare skin and often retain more intensity after mixing, which was true for Clionadh’s formula. There were some paints that I found to be harder to work with and that appeared or disappeared unevenly, but most were easy to work with, opaque, and durable (about eight hours without primer).

U.S. brands typically market these products as “pigments” (instead of “eyeshadows”), and there is often a warning on the back of the package or on the label. The product contains color additives that, according to the FDA, are not approved for use on the eye. According to CosIng, some color additives in “pigments” are not subject to any restrictions in the EU and can be used for the eyes.
