NFL DFS chooses week 4: QB thresholds, values
Gardner Minshew II, Jacksonville Jaguars near Cincinnati Bengals (DK: 5,900 USD | FD: 7,400 USD)
The mustache Minshew turned out not ready for prime time last Thursday and fell to pieces against the timeless bearded marvel Ryan Fitzpatrick. The bet here is that the 24-year-old gunslinger won’t let a hard outing break his self-confidence too much. With top Jags receiver DJ Chark (chest / back) on track to get active again and RB James Robinson continuing to contribute in all facets of the offense, it’s difficult to move away from a potentially solid production in the range of $ 5,000 to $ 6,000. As long as Chark is up and running, stash the troubles for the fight between Jags and Bengals. When Chark pauses, choose Matthew Stafford at home versus the Saints or Ryan Fitzpatrick at home versus the Seahawks instead.
Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders v Buffalo Bills (DK: 5,300 USD | FD: 6,900 USD)
Carr is way down on Bank Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky on the DraftKings lists, and at $ 5,300 it looks like an absolute bargain. Sure, he didn’t look good when the Raiders broke down between 36 and 20 by the Patriots, but he also looked a lot better than anyone else you can get at this value. If Carr can throw 261 yards and two touchdowns in New England, he can score 300 and three points at home against the soaring Bills. Buffalo ranks 22nd against QBs, and the odds makers have given the Raiders an implicit score of 25. Start the Carr!
WEEK 4 PPR RANKING:

Week 4 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: RB thresholds, values
Darrell Henderson, Los Angeles Rams v New York Giants (DK: 5,800 USD | FD: 6,400 USD)
Henderson has been playing well lately, skipping Malcolm Brown in the Rams’ backfield pecking order. He hit 81 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carry in LA’s Week 2 win against Philly (averaging 6.8 yards per rush) and added two catches for 40 yards. He then rushed 20 times for 114 yards and one score in a narrow 35-32 loss at Buffalo. The Giants give up the 10 fantasy points for running backs and only give three quick touchdowns to the 49ers in week 3. Henderson’s defense could be hairy for New York. (Any 80s kids here to get the pun?)
Carlos Hyde, Seattle Seahawks at Miami Dolphins (DK: 5,300 USD | FD: 5,700 USD)
Seahawks, who started RB Chris Carson, who had a great start to the year, fell victim to a nasty gator roll from Cowboys DT Trysten Hill last weekend. Seattle fans were relieved to read that Carson’s ligaments are intact, but he might miss week 4 with a knee sprain. If he does, Hyde will serve as the next man. Hyde was effective with limited backup work and should see 15 to 20 broadcasts and a handful of targets against the Dolphins in Carson’s absence. Miami allowed rookie Jaguars to run back James Robinson, scoring twice on the ground last week while averaging 4.2 yards per carry and catching six passes for 83 yards. When Carson is seated, don’t hide from Hyde.
J.K. Dobbins, Baltimore Ravens with the Washington Football Team (DK: 4,800 USD | FD: 5,700 USD)
Aside from reigning MVP Lamar Jackson, the Ravens looked like a shell to their record breaking 2019 attack. One reason for this was veteran Mark Ingram, who has clearly lost a step in its 10th season. Ingram had 257 rushing yards and five touchdowns through week 3 last year, but only 114 yards and one touchdown at the same time this season. Cue Dobbins, a 21-year-old bowling ball who looks like a young Devonta Freeman. Dobbins averaged 7.6 yards per carry this season and hit all five of his goals for 51 yards. It’s a good reputation, but look for the freshman getting more work this week at Baltimore’s meet-up with the team formerly known as the Redskins in Washington. Brown’s running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt teamed up for 154 rushing yards against Washington last week, and Chubb hit twice on the ground while Hunt hit once through the air. Even if it’s garbage time, J.K. should be LOL on Washington’s mediocre defense on Sunday.

FanDuel, DraftKings chooses week 4: WR thresholds, values
Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals v Jacksonville Jaguars (DK: 6,100 USD | FD: 6,000 USD)
Cincinnati rookie quarterback Joe Burrow has built an obvious relationship with Boyd, throwing more passes each week. The young duo combined four of five goals in the Bengals’ first week against the Chargers, then seven of eight for 72 yards and a touchdown in the second week against the Browns. You really turned your head against the Eagles in Philly on Sunday, doing 10 of 13 passes for 125 yards. Boyd has run more than 1,000 meters in the last two seasons and he should easily beat that mark again this year. His 80.8 percent catch rate and 76.7 yards per game this season are both the best of his career, and his numbers improve with every game he and Burrow play together. The Jaguars’ defenses looked shaky in their 31-13 loss to Miami on Thursday night, so Burrow and Boyd should make some noise against them.
Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers v Atlanta Falcons (DK: 5,500 USD | FD: 6,200 USD)
The Lazard King took the chemistry up with QB Aaron Rodgers, who appears to be back in MVP form this season. After Davante Adams sustained a hamstring injury against the Saints on Sunday night, Lazard had a career game in New Orleans. The 6-5, 227-pound receiver caught six of eight passes for a career high of 146 yards and a touchdown in the Packers 37-30 win. He achieved 76.5 percent of his goals and an average of 19.5 meters per reception. Only two teams give more fantasy points to broad recipients than the hawks. Lazard will be in cold blood on Monday. So if you enter any competitions that include this game, please register it.
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings at Houston Texans (DK: 5,200 USD | FD: 5,400 USD)
LSU’s smooth rookie receiver looked like one of the 2020 draft class top offensive picks. Jefferson broke out against the Titans on Sunday, taking seven of nine goals for a whopping 175 yards and a touchdown. His routing, body control, and soft but strong hands have helped him maintain a capture rate of 80 percent and 20.4 yards per reception – both very attractive numbers for fantasy owners and DFS players. The Vikings’ terrible defense will likely force QB Kirk Cousins to throw the ball a lot to keep up with Deshaun Watson and the Texans. So Jefferson will be a great choice in the $ 5,000-5,000 range.
WEEK 4 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Run back | Wide receiver | Narrow end | D / ST | Kicker
Week 4 NFL DFS picks: TE thresholds, values
Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders v Buffalo Bills (DK: 5,200 USD | FD: 6,700 USD)
This game is far more valuable to DraftKings, but everything under $ 7,000 really seems affordable to Waller the Baller. Buffalo has battled TEs this year after allowing six receptions with the Jets Chris Herndon in Week 1 and eight catches for 153 yards and a touchdown with the Dolphins Mike Gesicki in Week 2, and they’ll be trying to get back join after Patriots Waller held two receptions for nine meters last Sunday. Stack the Carr and Waller for double the fun and double the fun.
Jimmy Graham, Chicago Bears versus Indianapolis Colts (DK: 3,800 USD | FD: 5,300 USD)
The bears got a spark when trainer Matt Nagy benched Mitchell Trubisky for Nick Foles, and veteran Graham was the main beneficiary. Graham jumped from an 18 yard catch on a goal in Week 2 to six receptions for 60 yards on 10 goals in Week 2. Indy’s fantastic defense was the creme de la creme against tight ends, but Foles loves to put his big targets in Include the goal in the middle of the field. If you’re shoving a solid veteran with size and good hands into your TE slot for only $ 3,800, you can afford more expensive options in the other skill positions.

Week 4 NFL DFS scores: D / ST thresholds
Dallas Cowboys vs Cleveland Browns (DK: 3,300 USD | FD: 3,400 USD)
Dallas offers the best value of bargain defense, downgraded thanks to two consecutive tough games against offensive juggernauts. The Falcons and Seahawks air strikes have been a lot for the injured cowboys, which allowed the opponents to score an average pass rating of 114.1 (second highest in the league) and 32.3 points per game (third worst). But Baker Mayfield isn’t nearly as good as Matt Ryan or Russell Wilson. If the “boys” can include Cleveland’s two-headed run assault from Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, they should put up some decent fantasy numbers at home. There’s only one way for this squad in Dallas and that’s over. Plug them in and hold your breath.
